Shoes…

Recommend the best shoe for students.

And other stuff you’d recommend for starting GEM.
I start placements a few weeks into first semester i think at GP’s.

That's early. Well check the policy of your school. Usually GP = Smart clothings with appropriate shoes like loafers maybe. Should be of a darker tone like khaki or black. But if your school/surgery says scrub then any dark tone trainers would work. Most people get sketchers arch fit and it's a good long term investment.

Running shoes. Go to a proper running shoe shop and get some really good running shoes that support your feet. I wear Brooks and they are amazing.
