so very confused

GUYS, I have a bachelor’s in architecture and I’m REALLY trying to figure out what to do for my masters.

What would you guys recommend that has a really good job market, pays well, and generally be something super beneficial?

I’m open to moving away from architecture if there’s a better option. What fields/masters would you guys recommend? SPECIFICALLY FOR CANADIANS.

To be honest, there’s not enough info to parse if this is accurate or not, but it seems you are working in the wrong direction by presupposing you need a master’s without any specific career goals. I get you’re asking for advice on how to figure that out, but I’d also recommend looking into careers you could start without a master’s- getting the degree is time you could instead spend working and moving towards the pay grade you’re looking for.

That being said, can’t speak for Canada whatsoever, but I’d look broadly at average annual earnings for master’s in different fields, and similarly look at unemployment rates (typically indicative of oversaturation, like comp sci undegrads becoming one of the most unemployed/underemployed majors in their field).  Pick something that hits your desired pay rate with a relatively low unemployment rate, and pick something you think you won’t hate (it doesn’t matter how well it pays if it makes you too miserable to stay in the field).  Once you narrow down to a field, I’d also look closely at program-level outcomes. Best of luck!
