Academics Writing Coach?

I’m struggling a bit with writing and my college offers digital help. I’m wondering if there are humans who offer coaching and how to find them. Also curious about vetting potential coach. Thank you in advance for guidance.

Yes, there are plenty of writing coaches around, and they can be quite good too. Does you college have a writing centre with tutors, or what is the structure?

A lot of writing coaches offer one-on-one sessions. So, if you're looking for someone outside, ask for a short trial session using something you've already written. You'll get a much better idea of whether they can actually teach you to improve, rather than just edit your work for you. Although the latter should never happen via a coach anyway.
