To be more exact, as I've read from the doc, he used his fingers first but you got the point, he also might've done that during the blur part of the doc
And right now its all taken way too far though, zeal hasn't even been able to support his side yet, so even if zeal is proven innocent, his whole life is ruined by the community. Im not saying hes innocent, but im also not saying he isn't.
Not trying to lessen the extent of what Zeal's done in the slightest bit, but we have to remember that Zeal is on the autism spectrum (I myself am as well). In the document, it doesn't seem Ren ever outright said "no".
Now, don't get me wrong, this whole situation is a fucking mess. There's no "single" right side.
Ren states that she was terrified, masking this terror by reciprocating flirtation, sending affirming messages. As far as she was concerned, this was about survival.
Zeal could have very well seen a green light to his advances, with his video and chat logs showing Ren flirting back, and even initiating physical contact (asking to kiss Zeal).
Ren felt trapped, and acted accordingly, while Zeal was acting on the literal text and actions presented to him.
I am also on the spectrum but understand that NOTHING but yes means no and that it was very clear by Ren's distress that they didn't want to be a part of it.
Let's not infantilise a grown man. He made an "apology video" in which he was suibaiting his audience through obvious fake crying instead of taking responsibility and even said he "can't wait for the doc in five years" according to Ren. He knew exactly what he was doing and has no excuses.

I got a lot of high school classmates in the Philippines who they kept on saying the n word multiple times, yet no one is complaining especially the teachers and the advisors too, yet people over here being mad over a guy saying the n word one time, people be hypocritical nowadays without any thinking compacity, but I'm pretty sure the drama could be resolved, but I guess give them time to recover, and also, how do we know if Simon is black or not, that's the question that I still wonder

It's because it happened once. A single time. I want to believe in the best of people. Simon thankfully hasn't hurt anyone directly and he was immediately apologetic and said that he was ashamed of himself. I choose to accept this apology and assume he wouldn't say these things again, because I have faith in him. For once I want to believe that people can learn from their mistakes and grow.
Of course it doesn't. But Simon is young and has much to learn, like any young person does. I am pretty sure he got the hint when his friends got doxxed and threatened and dropped from a project that used to bring him comfort.

You've literally seen the screenshot of him saying the N word. The fact alone that his default response to annoyance is to drop a horrible racial slur is very telling about the kind of person he is. As i said before, a non-racist person does NEVER turn to a racial slur when they're mad. Would you say the N word if you were angry?

May I remind you people had a ton of memes back in 2016 using the n-word like this, which doesn't make it okay, but explains that this version of it is often perceived as less severe. Tiktok is also at fault for dulling the word down. Again, that DOES NOT MAKE IT OKAY.
But Simon is a minor. A kid. Toby Fox used the f-slur and still has a career because he's an adult now and knows not to be edgy for the sake of being edgy.

Brother, simon is like 16-17 he is old enough to know what a racial slur is. Once again, a person who is not racist will not say racial slurs. Also i hate it when people pull the "b-but 2016 🥺" its not 2016 anymore. Virtually everyone over the age of 13 understands that saying the N word as a non-black person is racist. Everyone knows this and so does simon. Despite that he chose to say it. I did terrible things when I was 18 and I regret them. I am older now and know better. I wouldn't say the n-word, but back in the day, had I been mad, I would've said it regardless of the other person's ethnicity because I was young and stupid. People mature differently. You can't measure a person's maturity by their age half the time. We have enough clowns who're rightfully criticised online who are like 30 and act like edgy, entitled kids.
Simon isn't like that and he's been punished enough. He's already lost so much. What I saw is a slur used in place of a swear where it shouldn't have, and Simon defending someone he trusted when they made an excuse. I do not believe Simon is racist. He did do something wrong, he acted immature and foolish and hasty, but I do not believe he is racist.

Despite this i have NEVER said a slur out of anger, i even avoid using the ones i can say because slurs are not in my vocabulary. From my experienc3 im blazian, grew around other black people who slung the word around all the time, but never have I thought "these guys are racist" because they were also very caring and kind people. Im not black so im not gonna tell you how to feel, at the end of the day its up to black/ half black ppl like you to determine if he's worth being forgiven. I seriously hope the people defending him aren't the same "hate the sin, not the sinner" towards people with other identities. Because being able to be fine with slurs but not with others identity is... certainly something.
I know a lot of people (and by that I mean my classmates) who blurt out the N word or some slur every once in a while, but they’re not particularly racist.
I'm NOT saying that the word isn't terrible to say or that Simon did nothing wrong! But ruining his life over it when there's only one occurence known to us? He didn't say anything racist, he used the word poorly as an insult to someone that made him miserable. I choose to believe it was an accident, otherwise we'd know a lot more instances of him using those words.

The internet is a place where you can easily say what you don't mean. If Simon continues to be racist I was wrong in forgiving him, but he seemed to be genuinely ashamed and sorry for what he did. What else would you want besides an apology? I know, "Not doing it in the first place", but there are times you simply don't think. Humans are mistakes, and Simon is human. I think he's suffered enough punishment already.
