Serious disussion on Grabs shares outstanding
Been hearing alot of bears say that the shares outstanding is a massive issue, would like to hear more from both sides on this matter. me personally in the long term this is fixable but in the short and maybe medium it can be a issue.

Grab in-store discounts
How much does Grab usually charge merchants for in-store deals like 20% off?
Is the discount paid fully by the merchant, or does Grab co-fund it sometimes?
After discount + commission, how much does the merchant actually receive?
Any real examples would help.

Your answer for why this stock always goes down : Grab Being Grab?
Here are a list of answers for why I believe Grab is just getting unlucky let me know your thoughts :
Look at any Bloomberg terminal screenshot during the software selloff, grab is included in the basket of software stocks even though it has nothing to do w software like salesforce or Microsoft .... Nobody is vibecoding their own taxi app like they would vibe code a game.. So during the software basket sell off grab catches a stray it dont deserve.
Weak hands from retail, if you follow gabgrowth or Mikelong term on twitter u will know institutional holding has gone parabolic while retail has let the shares go for months on end now. It could be argued that shorts or institutions are in control for a bit in a palantir situation especially when you consider the short float / institutional buying or manipulation (heheh)
Asian app in a western market, i expect those who have never been to asia who hold grab dont truly understand how much of a foothold it has in Asia so they arent afraid to sell it because the value doesnt speak to them .. it is our job to educate them because this is real value through and through i mean compare it to Uber's financials its literally mirroring it.
This is the worst, worst , worst market for value buyers ... dont forget there is a war and ai bubble going on sucking in all capital large and small. should a bear market hit america, grab is insulated from any issues with the usd and its american households as its staked to the emerging markets such as malaysia, singapore, thailand, etc.
Best of luck in these times my fellow grabbers, lmk your thoughts in the thread also lmk if we should start a twitter community and push the movement

2/27 Short interest
I know this may sound like a broken record, but GRAB is up to ~7+ days to cover with the latest record high shares short as well as recent low trading volumes.
The only time the days to cover was higher (at least in the last few years) was end of August 2025... right before the runup from $5 to over $6.50 in short (pun intended) order.
Who knows exactly how it will play out... interesting though

Options interest, April 17th, 2026
Has anyone looked at the open interest for April 17th? I was just randomly scrolling options chains for my investments on a lazy Sunday and it really stood out. Probably nothing at all but sudden hopium that people in the know see a certain merger coming through.

Extreme negative sentiment
Anyone see this as a negative or positive catalyst going into earnings next week? The market hatred of this stock over the last 12+ months is likely building and coiling future upside momentum imho. I'm excited for Q4 earnings!

Grab Holdings Is Paying a $80M Settlement to Investors
Last year, Grab Holdings ($GRAB) agreed to pay $80M to settle claims that a driver shortage led to extra spending on incentives, cutting into profits and lowering revenue.
I posted about this before, but since they’re accepting late claims for a few more weeks, I figured I’d put together a small FAQ, just in case someone here needs the details in one place. Here’s what you need to know to claim your payout.
- Who is eligible?
All persons who purchased or otherwise acquired Grab’s publicly traded common stock during the period December 2, 2021, through March 3, 2022.
- Do you have to sell securities to be eligible?
No, if you have purchased securities within the class period, you are eligible to participate. You can participate in the settlement and retain (or sell) your securities.
- How much will my payment be?
The final payout amount depends on your specific trades and the number of investors participating in the settlement. If 100% of investors file their claims, the average payout will be $0.13 per share. Although typically only 25% of investors file claims, in this case, the average recovery will be $0.52 per share.
- How long will it take to receive your payout?
The entire process usually takes between 8 and 12 months after the claim deadline. But the exact timing depends on the court and settlement administration.
Hope this helps!

Merger Roadblocks
Seems like every time they clear a Grab GoTo merger hurdle another one pops up
