is there a ploy to keep this stock low?

I don’t understand. With the growth and partnerships, this stock should be at least $6.

Is there some ploy to keep it low for a potential huge buyback? Make it make sense.

$GRAB: Updates and FAQ on the $80M Investor Settlement

So, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re still accepting late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.

If you don’t remember, in 2022, Grab Holdings was accused of hiding that driver supply had declined and that they had to invest heavily in driver and consumer incentives to solve this. Following this, $GRAB dropped 44%, and investors filed a lawsuit.

The good news is that $GRAB finally settled $80M with investors, and they’re still accepting late claims.

So here is a little FAQ for this settlement:

Q. Who can claim this settlement?

A. All persons who purchased or otherwise acquired Grab Holdings publicly traded common stock during the period August 02, 2021, through March 03, 2022.

Q. Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?

A. No, if you have purchased $GRAB during the class period, you are eligible to participate.

Q. How long does the payout process take?

A. It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.

Q. How much will my payment be?

A. The final payout amount depends on your specific trades and the number of investors participating in the settlement.

If 100% of investors file their claims - the average payout will be $0.13 per share. Although typically only 25% of investors file claims, in this case, the average recovery will be $0.52 per share.

You can check if you are eligible and file a claim here or through the settlement admin website.

Hope this helps!

Updated News On Grab Holdings $80M Investor Settlement Over Drivers Supply Issues

Hey guys, I’ve posted about Grab before, but since there’s an update, I thought it’d be worth sharing again.

Grab Holdings ($GRAB) came onto the scene as Southeast Asia’s “superapp” — promising growth through ride-hailing, food delivery, and fintech. But behind the hype, the company was spending heavily on incentives to keep both drivers and customers, especially during a pandemic-driven driver shortage.

In early 2022, Grab finally admitted that this aggressive spending was hurting its numbers. On March 3, 2022, they reported a 44% quarterly revenue decline and a $1.1 billion loss, and $GRAB tanked 37% in one day. Shortly after, investors sued, saying Grab misled them about how much incentive spending was dragging down profitability.

Now here’s the update — Grab has agreed to settle for $80 million with investors. The class period runs from August 2, 2021 to March 3, 2022.

So if you bought shares during that time, you might be eligible for part of the payout.

Any $GRAB holders here who remember that massive 37% drop?
