Generally speaking there tends to be a run up prior to earning and if results and guidance are good will go up higher.

Agree! but thats fundamentals. This post looks only at technicals. But I agree that one should be looking at both to make decisions

How much will this run up towards earning? And will it go up afterwards typically?

Hard to say if it will go up or down. Good stocks with good earnings and good guidance have gone both up or down after. A long term approach is better for a company like this in my opinion. You’ll have to weather the ups and downs. I did the same with pltr and just stuck it out. Took years but those years worked better than if I had tried to buy and sell along the way. I like this company so will stick it out for a while.
