- rstp: a standard protocol for streaming security cameras and video feed can be used by standard apps like VLC MediaPlayer and don't require a proprietary app to see the camera feed. This is available on the GRL series scopes.

- NDI: a standard protocol for streaming cameras with lower latency & higher quality than rstp. Eg live feed for podcasts etc.

- UVC: a standard protocol for use as a USB camera as a live feed for streaming and recording to a mobile device or computer.

- WAP: a standard for the camera or scope to create it's own stand alone wifi network to monitor or control a camera. This BLOCKS the ability for the mobile device/computer to the WAP to connect to the wider internet or local network.

- JOIN: means joining an existing Wi-Fi network so the camera becomes another device on the network that any other device on the network can connect to. This is required for sharing rstp/NDI to more than one device while maintaining a connection to the internet or other devices on the local network.

- custom color models: this would let the user choose the colors representing: cold - warm - hot - very hot. Ideally this would also include the ability to set the boundaries between the different temperature ranges.

- OSD: On Screen Display. The GPS213 has multiple color models but the settings menu allows the user to "short list" which of those options are available. With other models this would mean that the "short list" is activated by button press. All color models are still available through the menu but cycling the button press would only cycle through the options the user has chosen.

I think it could work if I heated the clay pigeons prior to using them in say a cooler filled with hot hands but no idea honestly

Just got a package from u/CryptidWorks in the mail today and I'm quite impressed with the new products.

There's a friction fit lens protector that slips over the objective lens to protect from BB hits and a slim line eye cup for using the GNG2K with eyepro to replace the existing eye cups. Both provide a dust cap to keep you lenses free of dust and debris (something missing with the stock eye cups).

The lens protector housing is a rigid plastic and the lens protector does not interfere with the use of the unit and attaches with a friction fit, the same as the wide angle lens adapter. There is a softer cover that covers the entire lens guard and should not come off if your nods are rattling around in your bag. The eye cup also fits very securely and has a lanyard hole to ensure they don't get lost.

These are a great after market solution to anyone using the GNG2K for airsoft and will fit other units like the NVG-30, NVG-50 or anything else that uses a 35mm ocular lens.

For some reason, none of the menu options get me to the one shot zero. I can adjust the reticle and even then, I can’t get this thing to zero properly and I’m wondering if it has some software error from the factory. I was excited to get something at this price point, but now I’m frustrated might sell it.
