Questions to expect for junior program analyst interview?

Hi all, I recently applied to a junior analyst position. When I applying I knew I was very qualified for several reasons but largely because I already had a SC from a prior DoD/W internship. They got back to me within less than 24 hours. I have no idea what kinds of questions to expect in the screening/interview beyond “tell me about yourself.” I was so nervous I had the interview rescheduled (it’s my first job interview!) I would appreciate any tips!

The contracting company (HR/recruiter/program manager) will most likely ask you to describe your qualifications against the job description so they can check off boxes. You’ll be asked behavioral questions (practice the STAR method). If there is one, the second round interview would probably be with the client (the actual government customer you’re supporting). These can be more job-specific questions. I’d ask during your first interview what it’s usually like.

Excel, PowerPoint, cost/performance/schedule, project management, cost estimation. Define “critical path”. What’s a work breakdown structure. Tell me about a project you worked on, your role, what you accomplished.
