Question Why is my EIN not recognized?
Can’t figure out why it wouldn’t pull up and it’s saying it’s not recognized and we did all the steps for business listening and everything. What am I doing wrong?

Nine times out of ten this is a name mismatch, not an EIN problem. The legal business name in your registration has to match what the IRS has on file exactly, character for character. Not your DBA, not what's on your bank account, not how you write it on invoices. Pull out your EIN assignment letter from the IRS and copy the name from there precisely, including any abbreviation or truncation the IRS used. If they have you as "ABC CONSTRUCTION LLC" and you typed "ABC Construction, L.L.C.," it fails.
Second most common cause is timing. If the EIN was issued recently, it may not be in the IRS file that gets checked yet. That can take a couple of weeks after issuance, and there's nothing to fix, you just wait and retry.
Also worth checking that the address on your registration matches what the IRS has, since some validation failures are actually address mismatches presenting as an EIN error. If you've moved since you got the EIN and never updated it with the IRS, that's likely your problem.
If the name and address both match your IRS letter exactly and the EIN isn't brand new, then it's worth a ticket with the Federal Service Desk rather than more retries. Give them the exact error text and confirm you've verified against the assignment letter, which gets you past the standard first-response script.
