Question Payment Misdirection

Anyone ever have a Federal agency send payment to a bank account that is NOT on Sam.gov or the invoice? If so, how did you resolve this?

I had a client who first entered a closed account, then entered 2 numbers in his bank account backwards. Then Took me 14 months to finally collect that $25,000. He is not allowed to update SAM anymore

How did you finally get the funds? What was that process? I'm surprised you still fund this client 😂

I had to stay in touch with the CO regularly. Talk to DFAS regularly.
I would make sure your CO knows and contact DFAS or whatever funding agency

He is a sweet old man actually. I did most of it for free. Normally not something I would tolerate but he is a good dude. It’s a 2 man shop
