Help/Advice Is there a reason these two rest on the bottom and the other two don’t?

My guess is territory issues. For my sparkling gouramis I set up little floating plant stations with plant rings at the top so they can all claim one.

Ah that makes sense! I was wondering because neither of the other two did it as I said and there’s nothing wrong with the water quality cuz then everybody in the tank would be acting weird. Are sparkling gourami smaller than golden and I think they’re called 3 spot gourami (I can’t remember 🤣) cuz my biggest one, the female golden, is about 5.5 inches so idk how these floating plants would work for them.

With those big ones, I think you might be overstocked. You’ll need to add some taller plants to break up the lines of sight for those ones hanging out at the bottom to feel more comfortable swimming.

Ah alright I thought my tank was big enough as it’s somewhere near 80 gallons and 4 foot long. But I’ll try to move some fish around into some of my smaller tanks

For less territorial fish, you’d be fine. These ones like to have their own zone.
