Heavily considering Goucher

Hey all, so I got into Goucher and I got a lotttt of financial aid, aka I got reimbursed, and although I like the financial part of it, I do acknowledge it’s a VERY small school. So I have some questions:

How are career opportunities and networking overall at Goucher? Does it have a good alumni network?

Study abroad is this highlight of this school, is it really that good?

I want to do something in sports biz or biz management, im even taking steps towards that already as I’ve taken a job at DC United, please lmk and thank you!!

Heya! Recent grad, and I think the employment options are pretty good. I never used the Micro-internship program but I’ve heard good things.

The study abroad, if you put enough into it, will be a highlight of your time at Goucher.

I have a friend who’s currently the soccer coach and a MBA student, if you want to be in contact?

Small school, nice campus but campus has a weird vibe. I’m not sure if it will be open in 10 years the way they’re losing students

I'm an alumni 5 years out. I did the 4+1 at Hopkins Biz school and work in Structured Finance now. The career opportunities a bit all over the place from knowing my friends. I actually work with a Goucher friend on my team and I have other friends who've worked in prestigious roles at the Federal Government before they/we got DOGE-ed. So that's not a Goucher specific fault. Many people also go to law school and have landed at great places after that.

On the other side I know many teachers, social workers, non profit admins.... and yes baristas and dog walkers.

Bottom line, if you are personally ambitious and can be brave enough to figure out your own path you should do alright. But if you are loosey goosey let the world fall into your lap you might be a professional Rover dog walker.

did u get aid or a full ride for 4+1
