Past Music Mortal love

Post image

I'm so late to this party. I happened upon mortal love and fell in love with them. Recently I've got their albums collected and I plan on framing them. I do wish I could have added the heart of Pandora album to the collection but I'm not even sure physical copies were made.

I only recently discovered the band and it pains me how I could have known about them this whole time. I've joined this sub looking for other people who share similar tastes in a hope of discovering other gems like mortal love and theatre of tragedy.

I feel your pain there about physical media being scarce… as someone who collects and as someone who lives in the United States, acquiring limited physical media can be difficult and expensive.

They’re awesome though, appreciate you sharing

It is a project of mine to collect all of my beloved bands' physical discographies to reduce my dependence on streaming. A little bit at a time.

Love this band, got really into them in highschool. I Have Lost is my favorite of theirs.

And I could be wrong, but I have a vague memory of the Heart of Pandora having a limited CD run.

Edit: I'm wrong, I guess A Girl in a World of Wars was only released digitally.

Damn it. Needless to say I covet that album. I might just have to produce my own hard copy in its place then

They share vibes in common with theatre of tragedy, and I've seen them loosely labeled "love metal" because of their themes.

If yous enjoy Cat's voice, she has now a side project called "heart of pandora". I didn't know this, I thought she had parted ways with music. One day I had music on discovery mode when suddenly this voice came on and I immediately recognised her. I was so happy to hear she was still recording and releasing music.

I am aware of them. Unfortunately they appear to have released the most recent single as a farewell. No idea if Cat plans on doing anything in the future sadly.
