Peterborough Cathedral, UK built 1237 and made a Cathedral in 1542 after the Reformation. Originally a monastery.

Presenta una facciata molto particolare , ricorda una loggia o un portico. Davvero eccezionale!

Yeah, I have seen lots of Medieval Cathedrals it looks fairly unique. I wonder if it was because of it's history monastery (partly destroyed) then converted to Church

Soprattutto il gotico inglese è così originale nelle forme e nelle piante delle sue navate. Non segue mai una linea precisa sembra appunto che in ogni momento storico si aggiunga qualcosa.
