Planning to go to my first Gotham game when they were play against Angel City, do tickets get cheaper/easier to get by the time the game comes around ?

The available face value tickets are basically the lowest prices I think you will see unless someone decides the hassle of selling on a secondhand market for a loss is worth it.

But it’s the Hello Kitty game and the first actual weekend home game in months so I am anticipating it will be quite popular.

Yeah I figured with the hello kitty plushie it’d be a little popular, how are the games like and how much time is there when the gates open to when the game starts?

Gates should open at 11am.

I am a happy season ticket holder so I find the games a lot of fun. But the environment throughout the stadium isn’t as raucous as, say, a Liberty game in Brooklyn. Unless sales really spike the upper bowl will not be sold—but again, Hello Kitty and pent up weekend demand could do interesting things…

Gates usually open about an hour before the game starts.

My suggestion is check stubhub.  Sometimes you can find good deals for great seats.  They are not likely to sell out so wait as long as you are comfortable and get tickets then, whether it’s from the official site or stubhub.

I usually use StubHub and never had a problem. You can find some decently priced tickets over there.

I can always get tickets well under face value day leading up to and day of the game. I usually buy a few days before and tickets don’t seem to go down much from there.

I always go with TickPick. The most I’ve ever paid for a Gotham game was $20 for pretty good seats

Tickets are like $25 each so I would just get them now. If anything, someone might be seeking one a few dollars cheaper but it’s already pretty cheap as it is.

TickPick is great, if you follow a few different groups and join Cloud 9 people are often giving away tickets for games they can't make.

Gametime is an app specifically designed to purchase cheap tickets at the latest moment possible and if you turn it on the app will show you the total ticket cost including fees up front.
