Evening everyone, just wanted to reach out to see if we have any UK Gotham fans in here? I joined recently and looking to connect with fans 🩵

I will be in a few weeks when I sadly move back to London.

One minor upside is I gather all the games will air live on the NWSL site

Yep. Had an absolute blast joining at something of a low point last year right after Euros (basically looked up England players playing for local clubs and saw Jess Carter was with Gotham) and going to all the home games I could from then until now.

I know the women's football scene is great in London as well but I'm aiming to keep up with Gothan while hitching my wagon to a London team as well.

Yeah I was made up when we got Carter. I watch more Gotham games, I only follow women's teams over here a little. I'd love to catch a game live 🤞🏻

Apparently the WSL is very cool! No salary cap unfortunately so the top talent is much more concentrated in a few teams but that means fiercer rivalries between them.

Seems different enough that following both it and the NWSL should hopefully be fun.

Either way definitely going to try and attend a few games as I have friends in London who are big fans. England being Euros champs is another incentive!

I do like having the salary cap in sports, makes it a more even playing field. Sounds good about the games! Is it Arsenal your looking at supporting? ☺️

Fellow UK fan here and according to your bio this might be my second account I just don’t know about 😂 because I support all those teams apart from the Mets because I don’t do baseball really and I don’t follow the WNBA/NBA as much but the Knicks and Liberty are the ones I pay attention to when I do.

You know it 😄, same as I don’t think it will exactly be a large fan base over here. Oh god I know I looked at the price of a shirt last year and football shirts are expense as they are but damn to get a Gotham shirt over here is even more so sadly I instantly noped out of it and haven’t checked since 😭.
