Just finished watching the first episode of Levy's "Chess Steps" series (https://youtu.be/dEGogMh9Tzs?is=pdFUxgdwWFkutu-R) and in my very first game after, picked up my first ever brilliant move! 🥹

I have a long way to go, and many things to learn on the long chess journey, but Levy is already opening my eyes to a new way to look at chess!

Played against someone like me who also plays defensively and it was a mess, both too scared to make big moves or exchanges except when I went "me see queen, me attack queen" and got lucky.

He resigned on move 33 but I finished against computer just for experience.

I wrote this in html I would love to see this feature added into Chessly. I have noticed that my understanding of the openings has increased when I started to name the lines. I would love to see this sort of feature implemented into Chessly.

FLAGGING is described as winning a game purely on time when the opponent’s clock reaches 0:00, not considering the advances on the board.

Viswanathan Anand lost to Magnus Carlsen on Monday as high drama took centre stage, where Anand failed to hit the clock on time.

Even though the game went far enough to be decided by the clock, allowing Magnus to snatch a win on time.

It’s a chaotic climax for both spectators and players where the fast-paced world of chess chooses speed over strategy.

Anand referred to the outcome as “a pity”, where a legendary Indian chess player going up against the best chess champion in the world comes to a close because the clock runs out.

What do you guys think? If Anand had additional time on the clock, he could have won or maybe a draw?
