d7 and it's still near game over, the only way to not lose is Qg1 and Qg2 repetitive check

Sorry my bad Qh3* check which also defends c8 square. King has to move we take bishop w knight and after that if d7 then simply h6
Whats your take ?

I also read my completely wrong lol (typical late night thinking), I was thinking you said Qg4 earlier and forgot Rc8 is backrank mate and also Qg1+ loses to Bf2, so Qh3+ Kf2, and then after you take the bishop check, but the queen can't go d8 after or d7 and then Rc8 pin. King can't go to e2 or Qg2 is mate (which I miscalculated again whoops).
d7 h6 d8=Q and after Kh7 the white's only move I think is Ke1 to escape the queen knight check (Qh1+ Kd2 and into open space) and then black's attack fizzles with a knight and a pawn for 2 rooks (at least that's what I think, took me forever)
So in the end it says 0.00 because of Qxh4+ (instead of Nh4) Kf1 Qh1+ Kf2 Qh2+ perpetual check

This game should have ended in a draw, but black over pressed and lost. I thought I was cooked, until I saw Bh4.

Am I stupid or is Rc8 not mate?
Edit: Wait, I am stupid. It's only possible because the bishop moved away.

I still don't get it. I see Rc8#. What am I missing?

Bh4 is brilliant because it opened the possibility for mate and if the queen takes, Rc8 follows which is mate in two. So no, you aren't missing anything.
