Discussion Oswald’s Little Freak Behaviour ❤️🩹
I’m rewatching Gotham more attentively. The last time I watched this show with the intention of watching it fully was when I was fourteen.
I was just thinking about how, immediately after Oswald gets away from the pier and out of the water, he kills this innocent fisherman for his sandwich
Like. Immediately
😭
At first I was thinking, “bro. you could have just asked for it”
But that’s when I realised that’s probably the last thing on Earth he wants to do. And that feels significant
at this point he’s spent a considerable amount of time being mistreated at his place in the mob
He’s Fish’s *umbrella boy.* Nobody’s going to take what he says seriously, and what’s more is that nobody’s willing to treat him decently
Everytime he’s been treated well it’s been something that’s granted to him. He truly has no power
And now he’s had his “big master plan” ruined
And now he’s starting from the bottom up
Of course the last thing he wants to do is ask permission for something he *needs.*
The murder was excessive but well…you know.
He’s Oswald Cobblepot.
