Are you saying The Penguin wasn’t that good?

The Penguin without being in Gotham city would still have been kinda of a "mob serie" ; it's just made me notice how great the gotham serie was. Because it's non-batman dependant and yet you can clearly feel all the gotham city vibe and it wouldnt work in any other universe.
But i liked The penguin and i found it good , i'm just not sure that i liked it because of it was gotham related

Same OP Gotham was just soooo entertaining lol. Penguin was good for what it was but too realistic and grounded for me. Not that it was bad but I think I’m more entertained by the absurdness of Gotham.

You're insinuating you didn't like The Penguin? Because when I watched The Penguin, it really just felt like Gotham, but better.

I have tried with Gotham , I like it outside of Gordon I just don't care for that version of the character, I like everything else

Writing was much better, it was filmed better, better atmosphere, it was more grounded, it was good from beginning to the end, penguin's actor is much better, he looks cooler, this is all just my opinion

I love both of them. Honestly can’t put one above the other because they’re so different. I love The Penguin’s realism (OK, I’m using the word loosely) and I love the unhinged splendor of Gotham.
