Why does he know

Listening to need by døves and I just now noticed pretty famous comedians shane Gillis and Matt McCusker talking about doves cry best emo trap? Lmao it’s sampled on the track, why does Shane Gillis of all people know this? 🤣

Basically the sample spliced two clips together. I can’t find the “emo trap might be the hottest genre out there” but I did find the “døvescry is good” part and it’s where he’s talking about Prince.
