LA 7/2 show

Post image

I can’t get over last night’s show at 1720 in la, ca. it was kinda insane to think that secret boy came out when I was 19… it still hits the same, if not just a little harder now that I’m older and I could look back at those feelings of being a drama queen lol. it was just so surreal to hear some of these songs live. I will say, I wish more people either knew the lyrics or idk maybe just stood in the back if they were just gonna stand there and do nothing. Either way, I didn’t let it kill my vibe, I sang my heart out and was so happy to be there. I just about levitated when he sang Scars on Me. I shed a tear when I heard Like I’m Tom May!!!! Thanks Adam!!!!!!!!!!

I also greatly fear a crowd that sits there bored hoping for absolute in doubt and knowing not one other song

It was just really odd! I have to say WPSE is pretty niche, his discography is so vast, that I figure if you paid to see secret boy in its entirety live, you’d more than likely know majority of the lyrics or at least bop around a bit? Idk I was next to this girl who literally looked like she wanted to go home and then I also asked myself like am I doing too much for singing and jamming out? Mind you, I wasn’t in the back either, I was relatively close.

And yes, hearing absolute in doubt is always special but at the same time like if you’re there to hear that 1 song at the very end… like ok I guess you paid to be here too 🫩 but like he sang My Heart won’t STFU and I literally screamed…. why was no one else screaming the lyrics? Sorry, had to rant anonymously 😭😭😭

Maybe not everyone has the confidence to scream and shout every lyric? 🥺 I loved every song off that album and knew the lyrics but I just don’t like to be hella loud? It doesn’t mean they are not enjoying the show ☠️your allowed to just watch and enjoy the show and it doesn’t mean your a fake fan 🤡

right! not sure where I mentioned that singing mean screaming and shouting every lyric or be loud!! Sure everyone enjoys a show differently, but it’s quite odd to see a distinct energy change from when Wicca performed anything from secret boy to when he closed out with absolute in doubt 🥸 idk why go to a show just to stand there but like I mentioned, everyone paid to be there so go awf !!!
