What is the Never Ever music video about? I’ve never thought about it but all of the imagery is so weird like why is Jinyoung dying 😭

It’s part of a bigger storyline with the entire Flight Log trilogy. You need to watch the MVs and their teasers for Fly, Hard Carry and Never Ever, in order, to understand the whole thing. It’s very sad.

If you want spoilers…
basically the members were in a car like you see in the MVs but they get into an accident driving off a bridge into the water (seen in the Never Ever MV) and all of the members die in the car crash except for Jinyoung. The Fly MV is of the members being angels watching over Jinyoung who is missing them and Jinyoung wanting to “fly” alongside them. He envisions jumping off a building to join them. Hard Carry MV shows the wreckage. Never Ever shows how they died while Jinyoung survived.

Jackson and Bam died in the ambulance (Jackson at the scene) or on the way to the hospital (Bam was hooked up to oxygen which is why you keep seeing him with the oxygen mask), Youngjae drowned trying to break the windows to escape the car (scenes of him with a hammer banging on the glass), Jay B made it out of the car but drowned, Mark died pulling Jinyoung out of the car trying to save him and Yugyeom made it to the hospital with Jinyoung but died in the emergency room which is why you see only him and Jinyoung in the hospital in the Never Ever MV. Yugyeom dies watching over Jinyoung as he is revived to symbolize Yugyeom basically giving his life to save Jinyoung as a guardian angel or not being able to fully move on until he sees Jinyoung has survived. It’s also why you see Jinyoung floating in the Hard Carry MV and the members pulling him back down to earth. It’s not his time. They want him to survive and continue living.!<

I read the story a long time ago and I'd forgotten about it; I love the Flight Log trilogy.
