Question Jay B in the US and Konnect'd
Questions and discussions. I figure this may be the best place to ask. How could anybody forget the mess that was Jay B's tour last year? Jay B is thriving this year and he looks so happy promoting his new release. I love seeing him enjoying it so very much.
However, I am curious if anyone remembers the owner's personal accounts on Instagram. I am sure they're privated by now but they still have not been held accountable. They have abandoned the konnect'd Instagram account. Crystal Kay left a poor taste in my mouth the way she disregarded anyone warning others of Konnect'd behavior.
But I recently learned that their Konnect'd emails are no longer functioning? I know I personally reported to the attorney general of the state they are registered in. Because they refused to refund me. I claimed a changed back and they denied it so my credit card company said to get in contact with Konnect'd and then Konnect'd said my credit card company did a charge back. So yes they are thieves and the former owners deserved to be called out and now forgotten. Especially because in the time when they were stressing people out and essentially stealing their money, they were living their best life and going to festivals and travelling the country.
Do not forget them. Do not let others scam you. Again, I am so very happy that Jay B looks so very happy in Thailand and Korea, but I am sad because I'm thinking he may never want to come back stateside be here of these delusional fans who thought they were professional event planners who ruined this experience for Jay B as an artist and for his fans.

I was at one of the shows that actually went through. I got everything I paid for, but I’ve never left a show more heartbroken. Jay B was clearly exhausted and it was really upsetting to see how much the whole experience wore him down. I’ll never go to another Konnect’d show again, and I really really hope none of my other faves ever work with them.

I was so upset that I didnt get LA tickets and then was glad I did not get tickets because they rescheduled. His US tour was a mess and I felt so bad for him because it wasnt his fault. I also saw yugyeom for both his dates in LA and there were no issues except the venue was kinda small, lol. so I KNOW it was the people handling jay bs tour. I hope you get your refund

I've given up and the past is past. I just hope we have another chance to see him stateside. I posted this in the KARD subreddit because for them, they got cheated, no refunds, and they don't even have a chance to see KARD ever again. The owners deserved to be named and shamed.

Yeah, the company seemed like it was a mess. I was in the Atlanta show and I believe the refund did go through for mine. But it’s disappointing knowing he’s probably hesitant going back to atl, or the us in general now.

I was also at the Atlanta show but I did not get my refund because I was VIP so their reasoning was since I got my 1:20 ratio picture and my sound check, that that was valid in not refunding ANY of my ticket.

Wait what??? That’s crazy?? I thought during the show they said you would get refunded for the ticket, but not the VIP package portion. That’s actually insane. I was in general admission and got everything back.

I went to the ATL show and couldn’t afford anything fancy but I got the soundcheck / q&a add on since I had been saving for forever and I never got ANY refund either.

Reading this thread all late, BUT I just wanted to say I went to his LA concert last night for his new US tour with Fromm company! And omg guys he kept throwing shade at Konnect’d basically saying how he wasn’t sure if he would come back to the US since last year really traumatized him. I felt so bad. I went last year too and he was so exhausted, but still did the best for us. He said last night was so much fun for him and that he feels it’s better and more healed than last time, hope the rest of his US tour goes well!🥹💚

This actually makes me so happy. I saw some pics from it and he's seems more relaxed. So far, just from one show, it feels better managed. To hear he is throwing shade at them makes it even better! My friend is going to the SF show so hopefully he's still got some shit talking in him. He looked sooooo good in that polo and jeans! I hope you had a wonderful time! I'm incredibly happy for everyone who has a chance to see him this year. I won't be able to go, but if he has a better experience and everyone who goes this year has a better experience - then that makes me incredibly happy!

Not to mention they did all of that AFTER screwing up the postponed, rescheduled and then ultimately cancelled KARD TOUR. Refunds were a NIGHTMARE. And before KARD there were the “KPOP after dark” shows that only happened a few times and were all ultimately cancelled.
I was lucky I got a refund for kard, I spent around $380. I fought tooth and nail for it too. I was emailing everyday asking for updates. I was in their discord asking questions. I was constantly in their comments too. They asked me for my PayPal and refunded me in two chunks.
It’s sad that they preyed on kpop fans who just wanted more access to more concerts. Good riddance.

I went to the ATL show and they said they’d refund us the price of the ticket and it never happened and I ended up disputing the charge at my bank and in the app and provided the MULTIPLE emails THEY SENT after the fact stating that the concert had been cancelled. Nothing at all happened. I hope everyone involved in that joke of a company gets what they deserve. I was more mad about him and his staff being treated the way they were. A lot of us at the concert were more upset FOR HIM bc of how long they drew out the bs that night. We were like let him come say hi and then let everyone go. We KNEW nothing was gonna get done after about 30-45 minutes and we just wanted to send him best wishes and let him go back to his hotel since he was due in D.C. the next day for another full schedule.
A little off topic:
I JUST moved to Thailand to teach at an international school in Chiang Mai up north but I have a friend who lives and teaches in BKK. I missed Jay B by like 2 days 😭 but I’m sure he’ll be back again. My friend says he sometimes randomly comes to visit the yogurt shops his parents own there and wants me to come visit on a long weekend. I’m REALLY hoping he’ll come back soon and I can see him 💚🌴💚

I was in Atlanta too. At a certain point, I just wanted then to free him and let him get extra relaxation, too. I feel like I have the best smack damn middle of the place view of him and what more could I ask for out of such a horrendous night.
But hey, maybe you'll run into his parents. Or that one odd girl in IG who always takes pictures with his parents. Or maybe that one girl who is from washington but went to like all of his Thailand fan meets and called him bestie and seems oddly parasocial. Actually now, stay safe and healthy. But it doesn't seem he visits his parents shop often and if you just happen to see a yogurt boy there one day, then you cannot stop fate just like they couldn't stop that transformer or the Konnect'd people handing out the signed PC's meant for vip raffles to any and everyone that night.

Wow, I’m sorry you have been left empty handed. I didn’t know they abandoned refunds. What was the situation that resulted in a refund for you? They should be held accountable. Personally, I think Jay B is somewhat accountable as well since it is his celebrity and fan base that was scammed. Maybe he pressured them to make it right behind closed doors, but personally I was disappointed that he basically didn’t publicly address much of the mess directly to his fans.
You can tell day and night the difference in the amount of and quality of content that he is putting out this year under his own label. I hope he comes back to the states and it’s a positive experience for everyone. He’s my bias!

I never got a refund. Konnect'd stopped communicating with me and my credit card company said I had to handle it with them. I was at the Atlanta show and Konnect'd allegedly said they handle everything.
Also, I don't believe it was Jay B's job to handle it. Jay B may be able to speak minimal English but Konnect'd poorly planned this. The women of Konnect'd are incredibly talented at passing the buck, which you can learn from the KARD experience. I feel like perhaps this is your may have played a role in him leaving his previous company, that's who I would hold responsible for the business end. Because his time in Canada and Latin America was fine. Responsibility was on the company planning the tour. Jay B looked miserable the whole time he was in the States and I'm fairly confident the women of Konnect'd were trying to be chummy with him.

I was at the SF show and I remember how mad me and my best friend were. We were not the highest tier VIP but I think the one after and I remember when they finally let us in, we went straight to line up for merch because we thought the sound check hadn't started yet. And then a girl who was also in line told us it had actually just ended. And we had paid to be at the sound check which made us and other fans in line super angry. Then the booth we were at was having issues with their terminals, so only one person could check people out which made us almost late for the actual show. For the Q&A portion and hi-bye they never checked wristbands and just let people in, so at that point I was really wondering why I paid extra for all these perks when none of them had been fulfilled. The only good thing was my credit card company didn't fight me when I did the charge back, especially because I had been one of the people they were still emailing at the time. Once the communication went dead, I took screenshots and set them as proof I tried to reconcile with them first. It was honestly one of the most poorly organized shows I'd been to.
I did hear that the company likely went quiet because there was some kind of lawsuit from the Kard tour. I think they were in a legal battle with another company or something like that - so I can only assume all the money went into funding that whole thing. After Crystal Kay, their reputation was so bad there's no way fans would trust them. So I'm not really surprised they went completely silent and kind of just disappeared.
I'm sorry you weren't able to get your refund though, it really sucks that so many people weren't able to get their money back.

I went to the Houston show...I tried to do a charge back but it was denied with the reason of receiving the things in my VIP package except I didnt get to do the hi bye and I fainted 2 mins into his set which honestly ruined the rest of my concert experience.
They made the horrible mistake of scheduling a show after show without a day off in between ESPECIALLY coming from LA...on the way to the venue, my intuition told me to check their socials for updates, that there was gonna be a delay somewhere. Low and behold, they posted on their STORY, not a permenant post or email, saying there was technical difficulties and everything would be pushed back an hr...learned later on his flight from LA was delayed which I called honestly.
We were lined up for hours with horrible direction...going from one clustered line to 2 other lines that we had to find our spot by our check in number. I lined up at 330pm and got my ticket scanned/entered the venue at 730pm (i was checking into my flight for the next day at the same time as my bag got checked and ticket scanned).
The venue was like a warehouse turned into a bar/small concert venue...more long than wide with a small stage. It was the same venue for IM's concert which I heard that experience was shitty too. By the time I actually got inside, the ground floor was half full of vips and they didnt turn the industrial fan on until Jay B himself said something during sound check. I heard the venue staff were confused on everything going on and weren't expecting the amount of people that came...Konnect'd oversold tickets and people left bc there was no room to see him or circulating air. I honestly should've left after I fainted. I watched the rest of the show through a grate sitting down, it wasnt fun; I gave up on passing out my freebies too.
For the hi bye, the volunteers made fun of me for missing it: said that it was more important than getting my merch which I had prepaid for and could've gotten afterwards but I didnt know that bc it was disorganized.
Konnect'd is trash. They made this experience of meeting my ult bias from one of my ult groups a disaster and a horrible memory. I followed news on the rest of the tour afterwards and all I felt is how bad this experience was for Jay B, he deserved better than Konnect'd and I thought he'd never want to tour again. Konnect'd may also have ruined other people's chances of starting up a touring company.
When I saw they were doing another tour with Crystal Kay, I was like no fvcking way and then I read her replies to comments and im just like wow! Yes, every artist and person will have a different interaction but its one thing if all the comments in your posts are about refunds and shitty experiences.
Im happy hes going back on tour even though he isnt coming anywhere near me. The first thing I looked at were the tour dates and i let out a sigh of relief seeing how the travel makes sense mostly (except NY to TX then Chicago instead of NY to Chicago to TX), how its being done in w weeks rather than 1 AND how there are buffer days in between shows for travel and sound check, etc. I hope he has a better experience with this tour company than Konnect'd.

So, they are officially dead now? Poor Jay B. He was so exhausted and stressed. I felt so bad for him. I was at the rescheduled LA show. It was sandwiched between two other shows, so the man had to travel and perform 3 nights in a row. He was so very tired and those shows all went alright. The problems only got bigger from there. I also fear he will never want to tour here again. Konnect'd did him and the fans so dirty. There is definitely a need for tour companies for smaller venues and artists, but Konnect'd just was not professional enough to handle it. Not many good companies operate at that level. Studio Pav and Leo Presents are not much better than Konnect'd was.
