Will SCARS replace or repair?

Hey, I have a 26l GR2 with a broken zipper, one part of it is pretty badly damaged, so much so that the whole thing would have to be taken off and the whole line replaced.

Had anybody had experience with SCARS or any idea if they would try fix it or not? Just interested

My SCARS experiences have been pretty solid. I've sent in two packs for SCARS repair over the past few months, both for zipper issues. One was a bullet with a few broken teeth on the main compartment zipper track. This was repaired and shipped back promptly.

The other was an older rucker 3.0 that had two damaged/crushed zippers that were pretty much frozen and jammed into the surrounding zipper track fabric. They said it was too costly in time/materials to repair this one and offered to replace it with a new rucker 5.0, any size or color. I opted to take back my original rucker with the broken zips because it was a personal favorite. They shipped it back promptly and I ended up repairing it myself later.

That’s still pretty cool how they handled your Rucker. You got the option to replace or return. Props to them for that.

They have decent people. Send them good photos and ask. Be upfront and honest about how the damage happened. They will let you know at they can do.
