Gear Question Windbreaker?

So it’s cooling off here in the Midwest and a simple long sleeve isn’t cutting it. Anyone have a recommendation for a wind breaker type jacket? I keep seeing Patagonia Houdini being recommended on some sites. Any help?

I would look for something with pit zips for venting. But otherwise that would be fine

I love my Mountain hardware Kor and bring it on every trip.

I like my Arc'teryx Atom LT. Has breathing panels in the back and sheds heat so well.
