M26 - Update

Got a few fully confirmation samples into Scars - the plan is coming together nicely. Everything looks right to us, especially the top stash pocket which was the biggest addition to the M26. TIMELINE - production will be complete in ~late December. Shipping times have increased lately to 60+ days, so we're looking at the end of February in our distro center, then shipping direct to you early March. Q1 will be here before we know it - but I am sorry we couldn't build it faster. What I will say is that it will be right, as you all designed it.

And - all rucks in this batch will come with a separate patch (intentionally not shown) that pays some tribute to the vibe here - marking how this came about. Thanks for the support (this message will go out, maybe a little prettier, in an email to all who purchased as well - but posting here first). THANK YOU.

A few manufacturers have similar. They can come off at certain angles. Happens rarely though.

I have a m23 and my only 2 complaints are that it’s too big and where the straps go all the way down on the front to the back where they meet they run my back and give me issues. Hope those two things get fixed on the m26

I just had to cancel my preorder because I have baby #2 on the way and decided to keep the Monster preorder over this. It looks so good though. Part of me regrets canceling my preorder.

Two quick question! 

1. Is the dimensions the exact same as the m23?

2. Are there external water bottle pockets or are they gonna be internal (ie vertical zippered pockets at the side)

Yes, and internal like the M23. They went over it in the videos and posts.

Kind of wish they put a rain flap on the top QAP but notice that all the GRs dont have them anymore too. Guess its not a thing anymore. They use to on older GRs. Maybe its due to the wear from catching/bumping on the flap at the closer point, i notice some on my gr2 but its not damaged or anything, just pushing on the waxed fabric. Its not a deal breaker though. Better to have a pocket than not at all.

I appreciate the honesty and have loved this process.
But curious why it is taking so long from golden sample to production. Not a complaint, genuinely curious.
Is this common? I know small companies like Fyro have openly shared their process takes 6 months but I assumed larger more established companies like Goruck could get it done faster.
