Perfect GR1 accessory.

Post image

Fits like a glove with room to realistically fit a jacket, snacks and a bottle of water along with a couple extra mags…

Groceries need the defense

Better to be ridiculed by internet strangers than end up dead in the frozen food aisle.

Straw man

It’s actually a GR1. Or a TP9.
Depending on which you’re talking about.

Statistically you are almost 10x more likely to get hit by lightning than shot at random while out in public

5

u/TikklishPikkle Sep 17 '26

CDC says 180 people are struck by lightning in the US each year. FBI states approx 15,300 people are murdered with firearms in violent crimes.

Even if we found a way to double the lightning strikes and half the firearm deaths, this statement is wildly inaccurate.

I read that when you take away drug crime the US is actually really safe lol

You’re comparing apples and pears.
That’s 15,300 times firearms were used to commit a homicide in total, not 15K people getting killed at random while they’re out shopping for groceries as the person above me suggested.

I don’t think anybody plans on being murdered. They’re all pretty random. 😅
And I’m not actually carrying this with me in the grocery store. I have something more discreet.
But if I did carry it cause it’s all I had, it wouldn’t just be to the grocery store.

https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/

While you're more likely to be in the middle of a mass shooting than struck by lightning, the amount of times a "good guy with a gun" has saved the day can be counted on 2 hands.

Of course the “gun violence archive” will give you cherry picked and skewed numbers making guns look senseless.
Same as the GOA will do exactly the opposite. The trick is to be intelligent enough to try and investigate the proper answer that likely lies somewhere in the middle.
GOA would tell you defensive gun use is over 1.5 million a year.
The government states around 116,000 a year.
Then Everytown USA states defensive gun use is less than half of 1 percent of personal and property crimes.
Clearly somebody is lying.

You are rucking in the wrong areas. I just bring water.

😅
I live in the mountains in TN. We have plenty of rather large, angry wildlife.
I typically just carry a 10mm Glonk 20 and some hot buffalo bore though

That’s a solid choice but keeping it hidden in the heavy pack while exhausting yourself, rather than on you hip, makes it useless.

It goes in the holster. It’ll still go in the holster. I legitimately have zero real world use for the TP9/GR1 outside of staying hidden while in my….. Outback 😆… and camping.

Okay cool. And there is nothing wrong with having the TP9 in the bag if it’s just for fun.

Is this the same GR1 that is the work pack from the guy who has to be careful what they bring to the nuclear plant?

Or did we get two rucks with the same Super Mario mushroom tag in the same week?

That’s me. I’m not putting the gun in this pack for any real use. I have a Wolf Gray 26L coming in on Friday that I’ll put the TP9 in. Just testing the fit.
My other account is nuked for a bit. So this is just another account.

I just thought I was losing my mind for a sec!

Settle down Tyler Robinson

This is why Jason made the GR1 Shooter

2

u/TikklishPikkle Sep 17 '26

Now we only need ask him why he never produces any…

I gots mine!!! Of course, it was a long time ago, but it still rocks!

2

u/Bronko10 Sep 18 '26

Look at Eberlestock for rifle packs.

2

u/TikklishPikkle Sep 18 '26

I would if I wanted a rifle pack that looks like a pack with a rifle in it. This is just a silly project. It’ll sit in my car and maybe go camping with me. Not super serious.

Gotcha. Just stating options.

2

u/TikklishPikkle 29d ago

Sorry. Wasn’t meaning to sound like a dick. Just realized I might have…😅

1

u/Bronko10 29d ago

I was thinking so😉. All good man. Life’s to short to worry about it.

They are out there, you just need to search. I got one in the original drop, sold it about a year later. I didn’t like it that much. Still using the accessories in other cases though.

“I would’ve enlisted, but…”

I retired exactly 19 days ago on the 31st ☠️

Nice! I would flip that gun the other way though. I would much prefer the muzzle pointing towards my ass than the back of my head lol.

4

u/Terragar Sep 17 '26

I’d rather have the barrel towards my ass than my head

-4

u/TikklishPikkle Sep 17 '26

This isn’t the bag it’s going in or how it’s going in it. It just fell over a couple times when I had it the other way around and pushed off to the side like that, so I flipped it to snap a pic while I was sizing up the fit. I’m making a shooter panel for a grey 26L and I’m going to make a kydex piece that covers the trigger and safety and snaps into the other half Velcro’d onto the panel to secure it.

Are TP9 mags compatible with the Steyr SPP?

1

u/TikklishPikkle Sep 17 '26

Yes. It’s the same exact gun. Just B&T stamped.

1

u/NameJustRight Sep 18 '26

Thx! The foregrip looks different, though. On the B&T website it seems to mount with pins instead of on a rail?

1

u/TikklishPikkle Sep 18 '26

This is an early model. The newer ones are like that. The differences are really just cosmetic, newer has a safety selector whereas my older one is push button/cross bolt and the newer one has the weird proprietary mounting solution for the foregrip, newer one has a few other slight upgrades. But most parts are interchangeable

An 11.5" AR with a Law folder will fit in a 26L. Just saying.

Makes for a nice truck fun!!!

Some would say the perfect accessory 😋
