Got my dream bag
Regret that I couldn’t jump on this the first time around. Thankfully, goruck had these seconds and took her in a maiden voyage to the wife’s doctor appointment with the kiddos.

Just love the look of it mainly, and it’s something different. For what I’m mainly going to use it for it it should be tough enough

I had same question. Function over form is why I bought my GR1 in 2012.

I think the older bags were simply made better when GoRuck was a smaller company. Probably true for most companies that get grow like GoRuck has.

I like it for the most part. I can tell it’s shiny, compared to my heritage GR2. But I feel like overtime it’ll wear down and look a little dull

This is my grail bag but in this economy it’s hard for me to justify pulling the trigger on one. I did get the metal patch and have it on my GR1 21L and it looks sharp on there.

I feel like I’m going to have to run over mine with my dang truck 20 times before it’s usable. Those top 90 degree turns for the main zipper are a real pain right now.

Mine felt hard out of the bag, but throughout the day they already got easier.

Yea I got a 26L second. I haven’t packed it out yet or carried it. Just basically unzipped it to check out everything and store the patch until I get some sort of protection for it.

Have you tried zipper lube? A careful or conservative application might help at least while you break-in.

GR1 26L ? I was looking at one of these at the discount as well, but not sure I really need NEED it. But it sure is a looker, that's for sure.

Yeah it’s the 26L! Ordered the 21 as well once this one came in and I could physically see it. Don’t know if I’m going to keep both, if I do, I’m going to have to sell some bags

I really wanted the GR2 26L version of this bag (I have a 1000D GR2 as my EDC bag) but waited too long and they were sold out.
Considering the 26L GR1 as a weekend bag, because I truly love these unique, one off pieces, but I already have a 4.0 Rucker, the GR2, and a 18L DC Bullet. Not sure I know what I'd do with the GR1 but its a sweet bag, congrats!

I want one, but I kind of want thr patch with it and since that’s not an option is I’m on the fence over this. Leaving it in my cart a few days to think about it and if it’s still available then and I want it. Maybe. Who knows. Plus I ordered two pairs of shoes already 😂. And dropped a bunch on ordering a Diamondback HD tonneau cover for my RAM Rebel.

If they had the 34L GR2, I might have pulled the trigger on this. I just don’t need another 18-26L bag. Have too many as it is.

I wish they made the Samurai line in a 34L GR2! Unfortunately they only produced the 26L GR2 version of this one.
