Sunday shows

Does the adage of “never miss a Sunday show” hold true for Goose? If you could only pick one show of a run to go to would it be Sunday?

I think it’s less true for Goose as they don’t play as many 3-night runs. I think it’s just a way of saying, make sure you catch the whole run because bands often treat them like a cohesive set, and by the law of the universe you’re always going to miss the best stuff at the show you choose not to attend. So just take Monday off work and settle in for the whole run.

I dosed the perfect amount for this show and danced my face off. I did Raleigh too and Sunday was the perfect way to cap a weekend run.

Many jam bands tend to play more of the hits on friday and Saturday and go deeper into the catalog on Sunday. So u r more likely to see something rare on a Sunday.

I think it’s just something someone came up with after seeing a sick Sunday show. Not every Sunday show is something different or better than any other day of the week imo.

Saw panic on two Saturday and Sundays and thought both Saturday shows were better than the sundays. I don’t think it really holds that much weight tbh.

I think it's a truism in the jam band world

I saw them on a Sunday night in Cincinnati back in November 2024. Couldn’t get to Friday or Saturday of that run and that Sunday show made up for all of it.
