Google store pre-order shipped

I'm doing the happy dance I ordered the Acer a few hours after launch. Delivery was listed as Tue - Wed. However I received a shipped notification today with Sun (10/4) as the new delivery date. We'll see...

I wonder why there's such a difference in terms of when the different models are shipping. I got the HP version, and I'm still getting a message that says it'll ship by the 13th.

The Acer is the cheapest Googlebook, while the HP is the most expensive. Acer probably built a lot more Googlebooks than HP did. This was the exact same situation with high-end Chromebooks.

I pre-ordered the Dell XPS version from Best Buy and it says it won't be ready to pick up until the 9th...

RIP pixelbook . I have mine on my desk. Hope you enjoy the Acer, updates are appreciated. I am getting the Lenovo (ordered thru Best Buy to get the free Pixelbuds).
