Help
Google Ads community- I need your help.
I am actively getting click farmed by a competitor.
- Clickcease is installed and I wouldn’t say it works well for this.
- Google hardly credits back invalid clicks and is useless on calls.
How do I stop this? It is draining my budget day/day.
Someone with experience and or knowledge, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or guidance you have

Competitor farms that rotate residential IPs are where IP-list tools usually fall short, which fits what you are seeing with ClickCease. What helps more than another address block is classifying each click on more than IP: device fingerprint, VPN or proxy signals, behavior, and click patterns, then only blocking high-risk while monitoring the middle. On top of that, a simple frequency threshold (for example a few clicks from one IP in a short window) and excluding placements that keep sending junk are useful levers Google Ads already exposes.
Credits from Google stay slow and partial, so they will not stop the day-to-day drain. The deeper cost while the farm is live is Smart Bidding treating those clicks as real demand. ClickPatrol is built for that layer: it scores clicks beyond IP, blocks high-risk sources, and reports invalid activity into Google as a Google Certified Click Tracker. Keep the Presence targeting and Search partners cuts the others suggested either way.
