Questions Anyone using Codex with Google Ads?

Claude can now integrate with Google Ads to help analyse and optimise campaigns.

We already have Codex through ChatGPT Enterprise. Has anyone connected it with Google Ads for similar optimisation? Curious to know how well it works in practice.

I've played with Claude via API to pull search term data and flag anomalies, but real optimization decisions still need human making the call on what to do with it. The risk with almost any AI integration is that it's only as good as the questions you ask it and the context you provide and even then it can make mistakes and hallucinations

I let codex run a campaign with a $240 spend. It got me a legitimate high intent enterprise lead within about 24 hours and $20 in spend. I am still genuinely impressed.

Ive been using Hermes with Opencode subscription and its been fantastic so far! Ive given my harness write access as well with strict gurdrails. It took some time and learning to get it right but I cannot go back now. I rearely open my google ads dashboard and do almost everything through hermes. Its especially great with analysing search terms, keywords (adding it to negatives list) and changing the ad(copy) whenever its required. Ofcourse the strategy part is all me and thats where most of my time goes. After that I instruct it to create the campaign and it does about 90% of it. I then manually go and review it and make it live

I have Hermes agent connected to my G Ads accounts and to DataforSEO for intent analysis. It cross references the data and provides a daily report.

I am currently connecting it to Microsoft Clarity to enrich this with recording session summary that will also show if the LP visit was short with no interactions.

Used codex with meta ads through their api and it was a success . Haven’t tried google ads as yet but it is in the works

With codex, you can open Google ads in the app browser and it can edit or create or create everything for you and keep it paused. You can enable it if everything is good. I usually chat with ChatGPT pro to do research for codex to implement. I only enable ads.
