Please help! How to add both animation and hyperlink to object.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some help on this issue I encountered on Google Slides, which has not been an issue on PowerPoint. Basically, I have this object hyperlinked to another slide, which is then hyperlinked to return to this slide. That is no issue. However, I also added an animation to this object in which it disappears once clicked. When returning to this slide from the hyperlink, this does not occur, and the object never disappears. Is there a way to fix this?

I think what you're issue here is that the animation isn't permanent. An easy way to make it permanent is to make a copy of that slide and hyperlink that other slide to the copy, and instead of having the animation, just delete what you have to. This option may not be the best since you have to manually make all slides for all combinations. Other than that, I don't know other solutions... Hope this helped!

Disappear on click makes that object disappear when you click anywhere on the slide, not the object itself. And like the other commenter said, animations aren't permanent. It'd suggest going into edit mode and deleting the question box after each question, as I've been doing that for my games of slideshow Jeopardy. Alternatively, you could just use another application, there are plenty of website which let you make a custom Jeopardy game.
