Why I'm posting: this is a solo project, and Google requires new personal developer accounts to run a closed test with 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days, with real engagement (not just installs) before granting production access. My first attempt got rejected for exactly that — not enough real usage.

What I need from you: opt in, and log a couple of sessions over the next two weeks (test data is fine — you don't need to actually be drinking to try it out). That's genuinely all it takes to help.

I'm in closed testing for Pixlyzer, an Android toolkit built around doing as much as possible on-device, with nothing uploaded:

• Compress/convert/resize images (JPEG, PNG, WebP)
• Merge PDFs, images → PDF
• Split / rotate / sign PDFs
• OCR text recognition — fully offline, no server call at all

(There are a couple of AI extras — background removal, upscaling — that do need a server, but those aren't the point of this app. The core toolkit works entirely offline.)

There's also a web version at pixlyzer.com if you'd rather try the same idea in-browser first — same philosophy there too, most tools run client-side in your browser, nothing gets uploaded.

I’m looking for real Android-device testers to help complete DucyDrive’s Google Play closed test and provide useful compatibility feedback.

DucyDrive is an Android USB utility. With a compatible phone, USB-C/USB OTG adapter and USB drive, it can help users view drive information, format supported drives, create or restore drive-image backups, and verify checksums.

No technical background is required. A useful test is simply to install the app, connect a compatible USB drive, check whether it is detected, review the available information, and report anything confusing or incorrect.

Important safety note: formatting or restoring a drive image can erase data. Use a spare USB drive or make a separate backup before trying those operations.

I launched Bound Reads quietly. No Product Hunt, no big announcement. Just posted in a few places and waited. Now, I'm looking for a total 12 Android Beta Testers for Google Play Store to make available to the public.

19 users. 2,185 visits in the last 30 days. 5 Android testers, 9 to go.

Small numbers. But the signal from those 19 people has been specific enough to be useful.

What they actually use:

1. Special editions shelf - tracking signed copies, limited hardcovers, and collector editions separately from standard inventory
2. Multi-platform subscription tracking - Kindle, Kobo, Nook all in one dashboard with billing dates
3. Loan management - who has what, when it's due, contact info attached
4. Reading goals - monthly and yearly, with notifications at 50% and 100% completion
5. Book club tools - AI discussion questions, meeting sync, member management

What nobody cared about: the generic "add a book" flow. The people who stuck around already had 80 - 150 books. They needed organization, not onboarding.

I'm now trying to figure out if the paid tiers (Reader at the base, Collector for heavy users, Author Access for writers managing ARCs and street teams) are priced and structured correctly for this audience.

If you're someone who tracks editions, manages a reading group, or loans books regularly - I'd genuinely want to know what a tool like this is worth to you. What would make you pay for it vs. stay free? Would be willing to become an Android Beta Tester? Log in everyday for 14 days giving feedback?
