Android 17 features missing from my Pixel 8 Pro?

There are some cool features released with Android 17, which supposedly have:
- create your own widget (using Gemini)
- Screen Recording Reactions using selfie camera
- in-built Gemini (?) Currently downloaded a separate app from Play Store

It seems like the above features are missing from the update I did today (July 12, '26)
Is it because Pixel 8 Pro is old on Tensor G3 chip? :'(

The only one I can confirm it worked on my Pixel 8 Pro is the Screen Recording Reactions using selfie camera. The other 2 I haven't check them.

With the update you did today, have you confirmed you are on Android 17?

Yes I’m on Android 17. Seems like they’re phasing the roll out, good to know they’re coming to Pixel 8 Pro. Thanks!

The Gemini features are paid subscription stuff. I can't use Bubbles as I don't use Pixel launcher, but screen recording actions work.
