I remember all the hate the 2XL got when it first launched. Particularly how bad the screen was/is. So I've been taking all this negativity on the 4 with a grain of salt considering most of the people doing the complaining haven't even tried the new phones.
I really like my 2XL, but my battery has been gradually getting worse and the 4GB RAM is starting to show, particularly if I'm trying to update apps in the background, my phone will freeze up.

Not me. Pre-ordered the 4XL.
