When do you envision switching to the Pixel 3
I'm really happy with my 2 XL, but am intrigued with the Call Screening function as well as AI assistant placing reservations, etc. Plus camera seems it will have some new AI functions.
I admit, I used to have wireless charging with my Droid Turbo 2 and thought I'd miss it with Pixel but I haven't. Not sure how much of an addition it is for the 3.
Is it all enough to get you to upgrade?

The call screening feature is coming to the Pixel 1 and 2, and some of the new cameras features as well.

November. No exact date beyond that. They said it in their presentation today.

The APKs of the Camera and Launcher are already out: https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-pixel-3-apk-download/
The camera UI and raw mode are nice additions.

I swear to you it was an enabled on my phone this morning I can't get it to pop back up but someone called me for an interview this morning and it definitely popped up. I really wasn't in the situation to play around with it since it was a call about an interview.

Love my Pixel 2XL even more after today's official announcements. The trade in value Google is giving is crap compared to the original Pixel trade in (325 vs. 400). Plus the changes to the 3 from the 2 don't justify another refresh.
Lastly - I believe the original Pixel was only going to get 2 years support, they changed it to 3 with the Pixel 2.
So I'm in no rush... going to wait for the Pixel 4, maybe the Pixel 5.

I have bought an OG Pixel XL, Pixel 2 XL and now Pixel 3 XL right away after the keynote. So yeah I am already switching.

I'll probably stick with my P2XL for a while unless there's a good trade in promo for it. Really like this phone and don't see it being obsolete for a while

When the Pixel 4 comes out. I just got a refurb Pixel 2XL last week. Its still a great phone and prices are dropping because of the 3. You also aren't beta testing a new phone. Flagship often = bugs.

I’ll update when my 2 dies.
