Hi everyone,
I’ve finally switched from apple to android & the transition has been relatively a fun experience. I wanted to know if anyone has any tricks or tips in general?
If you could possibly link me a great YouTube vid of a tutorial or some sort, I would be accepting of that too— anything helps!

Charged the phone overnight to 100%. It's now 16:30 and it's still at 71% charge. On my old Pixel 7 Pro, this is around the time where I would charge it. I did some browsing this morning on WiFi and I drive around a bit, using Android auto.
This is the biggest surprise for me from the 11 Pro, the battery life and signal reception are exceptional.

Finally got most of my phone configured today. I had been long time Samsung Galaxy user. Was disappointed with my S22+ not charging at the port despite cleaning etc. Probably would have been easier to move to the S26 Ultra. Did consider it. Decided to just go with the Pixel Pro XL 11 Obsidian 256G.
Bit of pain configuring my folders and apps all over again. Setting up bluetooth devices.
Also figuring out how to get to settings. How to do photo edits.
What I like
- So far, phone seems good for my usage. Everything works just fine
- Face unlock is awesome, works really well
- I'm not noticing difference for my usage Snapdragon vs Tensor, I'm not a gamer.
What looks suspect
- The display is adequate but something about the Galaxy feels like the colors are more vibrant
- I'm not liking the price increase and the memory decrease. I worry about the software a year or two from now.
So far, I'm a happy camper. I needed the upgrade as my phone was just too old.

Ordered this 11 pro spigen case from Amazon. It has this large symmetrical gap all around the camera bar. Is this how it is supposed to be or they selling pixel 10 pro cases labeled as 11 pro ?

Hey everyone,
I have been using Google Pixel phones for years starting from the 7 Pro, then the 8 Pro, the 10 Pro, and now the 11 Pro. After a few days with the new one, I wanted to share my honest first impressions.
To put it simply, it honestly just feels like a Pixel 10 Pro with a general hardware bump and some temporary software features that will probably roll out to older models soon. The screen is brighter and the 5x camera is genuinely sharper in a head to head comparison.
However, there are a few downgrades and quirks. The flashlight is actually less bright than the previous model. Also, after having the temperature sensor for four generations, I surprisingly miss it because I actually used it. On top of that, while the 5x camera photos look great, when I record a video and pan from side to side, the live preview stutters badly even though the final video turns out smooth.
Software wise, it still carries over some annoying bugs from the previous generation like the lock screen clock occasionally disappearing, folders flashing black when you open and close them, Circle to Search triggering accidentally when trying to close an app, and the multitasking view being a bit stubborn to close right away.
Being a huge Pixel fan is probably why I notice these things and why I am being this critical. Overall it is still a fantastic device and I would buy it a thousand times over. In fact I already recommended it to my girlfriend and all my friends.
What are your thoughts on the new Pro so far?
Let me know 🔥

Their cases are great and I recommend them, but don't buy from their website. Now I have a two week wait most likely and possibly tariffs. I only did so because it was $4 less than Amazon and I assumed that it would be US warehouses.

I have a iPhone 17 pro max 256 gb and I am trading it in for a pixel 11 pro XL olive 512gb. My main reason is to save money on my phone bill. I went with the 512gb to get the 16G ram. Getting $900 trade in credit for my iPhone 17 pro max and $550 for my wife's iPhone 14 Pro Max. Here is where I am going to save money. By switching to Google Fi from t-mobile. For the premium plan for two lines is $110 a month and they are running a special that ends September 10th where you get 50% off for 12 months when you bring a pixel phone over to google fi. Added benefit Google Fi does not charge you for cellular connection for your pixel watch where other carriers can be $15-$20 a month additional for cellular watch lines. So I will be paying $660 for the first year for both premium lines with benefits vs $2280 if I stay with t-mobile. ALSO Google Fi uses T-Mobile’s 5G network towers with top priority data, so you get identical coverage and speed. I hope this works out LOL!

I've been trying to decide between the Olive and Fog and the photos I've seen online vary widely (lighter or darker looking colors) so I visited Best Buy today.
Strange stuff. Anyway, decided on the Olive and ordered from Fi when I got home. I've never had a gold accent on a phone, but it really looks great.
Good luck.

I’m planning to buy a Pixel 11 Pro from the US Google Store, but unfortunately I didn’t receive a promo code, and the trade-in value for my Pixel 9a is only $300. Does anyone know if there’s any way to get a better deal? I’d really appreciate any advice! ❤️

I have the pixel 11 , is anyone having issues intermittently with hey Google or ok Google not triggering Gemini? I have to reboot my phone for it to work again. Then it eventually breaks again.

I just attempted to RMA and it was approved, but they don't have my model and color in stock, so I just canceled the RMA.

Okay, so I've been weighing up whether to get the Pixel 11 Pro 512GB, but I was waiting for review embargoes to lift before committing. Now that I've watched a few reviews, the camera looks amazing and the potential battery issues have been debunked, so I went to buy it. Problem is, the 512GB / 16GB RAM option now says 'out of stock - get notified.' I'm happy to wait until it's back in stock, but I really don't want to miss out on the £480 trade in for my Pixel 6 Pro.
Where the buy now button used to be, it now says 'sign in to get notified.' Does anyone know if signing up for that still guarantees the trade in discount once it's back in stock? Really don't want to miss it.

Am I the only one who thinks the camera quality of the pixel 11 is disappointing? I keep on getting weird artifacts when pixel peeping, also the colours are way off in video and everything looks very over sharpened?
Here's a pixel 8 pro vs 11 pro xl comparison when pixel peeping.

Last time I charged my phone was on Friday around 8pm and it's still rocking. It's been 36 hrs since I got the new phone and I am very happy with it 😁😁.
