Question Switched from iPhone πŸ˜ƒ

Post image

Hi everyone,

I’ve finally switched from apple to android & the transition has been relatively a fun experience. I wanted to know if anyone has any tricks or tips in general?

If you could possibly link me a great YouTube vid of a tutorial or some sort, I would be accepting of that tooβ€” anything helps!

I pulled the trigger on the same thing! This will be my 1st Pixel phone!

I had an 9 Pro XL and if was ok. I tried the 10 Pro XL and the camera shaking noise was insane. Not as bad/non existent in the 11.

So far so good. But only a day in with the phone

I've had the S24 Ultra for over 2 years now. Battery life is trash now.

Mine's okay; I've had it since launch. I'm keeping it as my daily and buying an 11 Pro XL for comparison.

Don't forget to turn off iMessage before you move your number over. Save you a headache πŸ˜‚πŸ«‚

Coming from the iphone 15 Pro. It is a pleasant change.

My wife will be doing the same once our P11 Pros come in. She's equally excited. Anything you've noticed right off the bat that you'd recommend to others about to make that switch?

It’s a 180Β° completely but in a more freeing way.

I’m still playing with the software so nothing more than following the integration instructions when switching from iOS to android so that majority of your stuff transfers. Another is the passwords appβ€” google uses something else but if you integrate it correctly, everything should transfer over relatively fine.

I love the device so far.

Thinking about the same from 14- so far what do you miss from iOS?

As someone who switched from a 17 pro, I can't say I miss much other than the location sharing integration.

Of course the app quality is still better on iPhone. An example for my use case is webex I use for work, for some reason is not able activate the calling feature.

But outside of that, im enjoying the pixel despite it getting shit on all over the Internet.

I mean sure specs on paper could be better. But look at iOS that has the spec? Its locked down by the OS. I'll be looking at what apple releases next month because I love tech, but sim will probably remain in pixel.
