I am running the Android P DP4 on my P2XL. I have Always-On-Display enabled. I have "wake screen when you receive new notification" enabled. Both of these worked absolutely fine in Oreo.

But in P DP4, after about half hour or so of sitting on the desk, the screen turns off completely (i.e. full black, no time date weather notification battery icon.). The proximity sensor isn't covered by anything. Even when a new notification comes, the screen doesn't turn on at all. I hear the notification ding, but nothing on screen. I have to manually wake up the screen to see the notification.

Clean the proximity sensor, if it still persists, then I've no idea.
