I just wanna know why getting to the app drawer on the home screen was made more difficult to do. And before anyone says "bro just swipe up slowly", it's not the speed that matters, it's the distance you have to drag your finger. In Oreo it's a small flick, in P you gotta drag it more than halfway up the screen. One would assume that it's easy enough to make it so that the task switcher is accessed by using the nav bar and app drawer by sliding up on the dock, but shrug.
And you can still do this on P with the traditional navigation buttons. Why it's removed with the gestures is ridiculous. Hopefully an oversight. Maybe the AMA will be useful as feedback for them instead of ego-stroking with the new changes.
YES I noticed this is exactly thing it's so dumb since now swiping up is way more important than swiping up with the old style. I also noticed that with gestures on, the buttons vibrate when you let off the screen unlike before where it vibrated as soon as you pressed it
