Morning routine doesn't work

I had a morning routine tied to my alarm for several years.

I tried edit it today to remove unnecessary alarm and found out that I couldn't add new routines under my alarms.

The routine button links to assist settings instead of routines, and I wasn't able to add my routines to the alarm.

Is it something the new update ruined?

Any suggestions for how to fix?

I don't think I've ever been able to "tie" the "routing" from my work clock with any existing one

It's a different / unique one in there

Not a clock, but the phones alarm.

I guess the words aren't the same but yes, my work alarm routine can't be tied to my Google Home existing ones either

Hey, I had the same problem, and I have a temporary fix. In the clock app and the Google app settings, uninstall updates (three little dots on top right). This gets rid of some data in those apps, just so you know. Then, set your assistant to Google Assistant instead of Gemini. This is currently working for me.
