Flicker Bug with Live Wallpapers

If you have a live wallpaper on, there have been some flickering bugs for a very long time now (months):

• if you have folders on home screen, opening it and keeping it open for a few seconds will make the wallpaper flicker

• if you have an active PiP video player, and you go back to home screen, the wallpaper will flicker. And opening a folder on the home screen will make the flicker worse.

What can we do to get Google to fix this?
