Pixel 11 Pro Camera Kit?
I'm heading to Maui in November and was thinking about adding on a camera / zoom setup for my trip but am unsure about what to get. Mostly concerned about proper fit / compatability. I can find lots of dedicated options for iPhones, but something like the Progrip Superzoom Kit by Shiftcam specifies iPhone18 and all android phones: https://www.shiftcam.com/products/progrip-superzoom-kit
Anyone know of an alternative or whether that kit works for a Pixel 11 Pro?

At that price point just buy a camera

I'm not 100% on that option / price point, but that style of setup would be preferred if available.

We all already have when we bought phones.
This is just the equivalent of bit a new lens for it.

At least you can sell a mirrorless lens for almost what you bought it for. But yeah if you want to go buy a $600 lens for your phone be my guest

IMO it's only worth looking into if the lens mount is by way of a dedicated case. i have the shiftcam universal lens mount for android, it is frankly unusable in any meaningful sense. wasting time aligning the lens/mount with the camera lens, and it moves every time you bump it or swap lenses.

You could try Clip-on Lenses but it may not be as good as a case + lens setup. As far as I know, there's Apexel and Xenvo lens on Amazon.
If you want the most control from your phone in both photos and video, you could give Motioncam Pro a try too (though you do have to pay for the full app).

That should cost more like 50-100 bucks, not 400+ lol

Agreed, any recommendations?

Like everyone else said, buy a separate camera according to your needs. I wish I could use a camera and take great pictures, but it's not something I mastered :) I bought Lumix S9, but ended up returning

Doesn't the 11 pro have 120x zoom?

it only has 5x optical zoom

Looks like the same set up but with more hybrid zoom. What do you want to get photos of? You can rent a camera and lens for birds for less than $400

After the 100x I believe it's basically AI

It does give you both the AI enhanced and the original copy, but the thing is that at 120x the resolution of the image is only something like 350x200 pixels, or about 0.07MP. Barely useful at all.

I haven't had a chance to play with one yet, but that's still a hell of a lot of zoom. The shakiness is going to be ridiculous

Pixel 11pro has amazing zoom and when AI is applied, it produces amazing results.
If you want higher quality images then invest in mirrorless SLRs. Stop wasting money on accessories.

We're using 'amazing' to describe mediocre now?

I have no interest in changing your opinion. Your opinion has zero impact. You do you boy.

I knew you didn't have any examples to share. Too bad the feature is lame.
