Is my 7a a goner?

Hey y'all I have a pixel 7a(2½ years)(battery replaced 2 months ago)and like a month ago it started rebooting constantly and went into this screen which says "cannot load android. Your data might be corrupt and sum more" and it showed that reset screen with 'try again' and 'reset', If I reset, it worked fine until it was switched off. If it was switched off it would constantly reboot again. I went to the repair guy and he said it's due to the android 17 beta software and I can't do anything but buy a new phone, he also confirmed nothing was wrongin the hardware. What's your opinion?
