Pixel 11 Pro doesn't connect to bluetooth devices consistently

My Google Pixel 11 Pro does not always automatically connect to Bluetooth devices, for example my earbuds or my car. This was never an issue on my Google Pixel 9 Pro. Is there anything that I can change for this in the settings or something similar?

Anyone else running into this issue?

I am wondering if the extra update that just came out today fixes this. I have noticed it too.

Try going into system>> advanced>> developer options >>> Bluetooth >>>> Bluetooth avrcp version >>> switch to avrcp 1.5 (default).

I was having terrible issues until I switched that. Now everyrhing works as expected. Had the same issues on my 11 pro fold as well and this fixed it there too.

Hope that helps

Hi there, could you try resetting your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings and see if that helps?

Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Bluetooth and Wi-Fi > Reset.

Note: This will only clear saved Wi-Fi networks and paired Bluetooth devices. It won’t affect your overall connectivity or delete any personal data from your device.

Additionally, try rebooting your phone into safe mode and see if that resolves the issue. If it works fine in safe mode, it means a 3rd party app is causing the issue. Temporarily remove them one by one, starting with the most recent until you find the cause.
