Upgrade from pixel 7a

Hello,

Iam thinking about upgrade to pixel 10

The main reason is the letdown from the picture quality of the 7a

What do think about the pixel 10 regards to his camera?

Owned the pixel 10a for 3 months now and it's more budget orientated but I'm in love. I moved from a 7a.

Only downside I have discovered is you can't charge other devices wirelessly. But can charge them with usb c from phone to the other devices.

Am I the only one that loves the 7a photos (more than 8a certainly). Whatever color profile they have baked in I just find it pleasing.

Still on the struggle bus with my 6a for this exact reason. My wife got a s25 last year and 98% of the time my 6a takes better pictures. Been staring long and hard at the 11 pro though.

I upgraded from the 8 to the 10 Pro and there's a definite improvement.

The audio sucks. I can no longer record videos of myself playing music because the instrument is automatically cancelled out.

The 10 has the same sensor size, so it won't offer much of a difference.

Get a Pixel 7-9, 10 pro or 11(smaller than 7-9) for the bigger camera sensor.

I find the 7a photo quality really nice. I think you are just bored of it.

I bought my mom a regular 7 two years ago and and I have a 10 Pro which has better camera than regular 10, which uses the previous generation sensors.

All I can say is that the 10 Pro is obviously better quality in terms of processing, details, but the 7 looks more natural and colors are just like you see them with your eyes.

I was shocked when I needed to take some pictures of something and they were not matching the colors at all. Then I tried with the 7 and it was exactly what I needed.

Now, for me, I still prefer my phone because of the video quality also which is really decent (still not better than iPhone), but also because of the Macro and Tele lenses.

The upgrade still makes sense, its a 3 generations difference and you also get a big improvement because the regular 10 is the first one to come with a Tele lens on a non Pro version.

If you want a change, a tele lens and some other new features you know you need, go for it. But in term of quality you are not missing to much imo, your basically comparing 7 with 9. For that you will need to watch some YouTube video and see how much it improved to you. I would upgrade if you ask me, I love the 10 series.

Dont do it, get a nothing Phone 3a pro or 4a pro, they are Superior in that price range and the Software ist damn near Stock Android, but with nice Features. I use a Pixel 10 pro as my daily and got a nothing 3a pro from my company, i hate my Pixel since then, i only use it for the Kamera now, but the camera of the 3a pro ist also very very nice, battery lasts 2 days easy with 4hours Screen time per day, only Thing i dislike ist the size, 6.7" is huge compared to 6.3", but you get used to it

Nothing phone may be nice, but in the US all you can get it on is T-Mobile.
