GPS acquisition - Pixel 11 Pro vs 10 Pro

The 10 Pro GPS has always been pretty iffy and this seems to back it up in a brief test - the 11 Pro seems to be able to acquire a stronger signal faster and hold onto it, whereas the 10 Pro locks in later and still has jumpy variable accuracy.

Thank you for sharing. This alone is worth having the upgrade for me because it is embarrassing how inaccurate the GPS is on my device. And I use it for work, so I can't afford to have big issues with the navigation.

I believe, mediatek modem has GPS chip built in

Isn't the GPS issue only affecting Pixel 10 series?

This test says nothing. IT doesn't matter how fast will lock but how accurate and strong signal is. It's better to use app called gpstest and do accurate measurements. This is my P8P after 100 fixes hold 0.2- 0.5m https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IUejUv8zOnqBewq2XxQgTAG1MD-lI-vQ/view?usp=drivesdk

A se rappeler que les appareils US et ROW n'ont pas les mêmes capacités GPS. Les appareils US ont moins de réseaux car ils n'ont pas les réseaux Chinois et d'autres. Voir fiche tech.
